About The Role 🤔
In light of our rapid growth, we are seeking a skilled Business Development Manager to oversee strategic gaming accounts in the EMEA region. This role involves maximizing minting volume into Immutable by establishing partnerships with key gaming customers for utilizing our Web3 gaming platform and services.
As a Business Development Manager, you will manage the entire sales process, from outlining account strategy and negotiating deals to fostering relationships with clients and promoting key products and services. Collaboration with various internal teams, including GTM, Legal, Sales Engineering, Game Studio, Acceleration, and Partner Success, will be a key aspect of this role.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business development leaders to drive early-stage sales and support customer acquisition efforts.
- Utilize both traditional "web2" channels like cold calling and email, and "web3" channels such as Discord and Twitter to engage with prospects.
- Identify trends and opportunities within the web3 gaming landscape.
- Leverage industry connections to bring game studios and developers to Immutable.
- Ensure successful project launches with partners, working closely with cross-functional teams.
- Develop strong relationships with executive stakeholders across functions and contribute to refining the sales process.
- Create strategic account plans and identify necessary resources for target accounts.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of client-facing experience in web3 or gaming within a fast-paced technology environment.
- Strong interest in crypto, web3, gaming, DeFi, and digital assets.
- Exceptional communication and operational skills.
- Comfortable in a dynamic startup setting with an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Driven and committed to achieving success with a hunger for excellence.
Bonus Skills
- Direct experience in web3 gaming projects or advising on them.
- Familiarity with the go-to-market strategies for web3 native projects and games.
- Proficiency in a second language.

This role falls under the Immutable platform team's domain, with a focus on establishing Immutable X as a leading NFT minting and trading platform.
