Responsibilities

• Create and oversee IP geofencing systems controls that adhere to global sanctions regulations (e.g., OFAC, EU).
• Keep abreast of evolving global sanctions regulations and adjust IP geofencing controls accordingly.
• Collaborate with various business departments to grasp IP geofencing requirements and enhance controls as needed.
• Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of IP geofencing systems and troubleshoot issues when necessary.
• Develop, enforce, and update protocols and best practices for IP geofencing controls.
• Update relevant policies and procedures to ensure alignment with the current IP geofencing control landscape.
• Work closely with legal, risk, product, and operations teams to promptly address compliance issues identified.
• Conduct regular training sessions for internal teams on the significance of IP geofencing controls and compliance with sanctions laws.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in law, finance, business administration, or related fields. Higher degrees or certifications in compliance or related disciplines are preferable.
• 5-7 years of experience in compliance roles focusing on sanctions and geofencing practices.
• Profound knowledge of global sanctions laws and regulations, as well as an understanding of their implications on business operations.
• Skill in integrating modern technologies for enhancing compliance strategies.
• Strong leadership qualities with exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions in high-pressure situations.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with internal teams and external regulatory bodies.
• Knowledge of blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, and their regulatory ecosystem is an advantage.
