Description
Duties:
- Utilize expertise in operational management to tackle complex issues in compliance operations like onboarding, screening, reviews, complaints management, and banking relations
- Analyze organizational challenges with various stakeholders, develop comprehensive solutions, and lead organization-wide initiatives for resolution
- Use statistical analysis to spot trends, conduct root cause analysis, and monitor performance
- Manage overall Operations, particularly Compliance Operations, to ensure critical projects are delivered
- Lead operational improvement projects and ensure their successful delivery
- Act as the central coordinating function for all local and global operations, covering compliance and general business operations
Qualifications:
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in multinational operations leadership roles, focusing heavily on compliance with extensive knowledge of global compliance regulations
- Previous regulatory experience either as an auditor/regulator or within a company
- FinTech background required, with crypto experience considered a bonus
- Experience managing operations in a retail-oriented, innovative business with a large customer base
- Adaptable, self-motivated, and capable of producing results under pressure
- A strong track record of managing large remote teams and dealing with C-suite members
- Ability to conduct high-quality risk assessments, remediations, and enhanced due diligence projects on a global scale
- ACAMS/CAMS/CCAS/ICA certifications are highly desirable
- Driven individual with a growth mindset, proactive in seeking opportunities, and adapting to challenges
- Excellent time management, organizational, and relationship-building skills
- Capable of evolving in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with local laws and regulations governing crypto/fiat licensed entities
- Knowledge of MiCA and other upcoming regulations considered advantageous
- Experience in managing enterprise-level remediation exercises and regulatory monitorships is a strong plus
Salary Range: €75,000 - €160,000 annually
