Job Summary:
Flawless is an innovative AI company transforming the landscape of Hollywood with its cutting-edge Gen AI film editing tools. Additionally, we are at the forefront of pioneering ethical AI through the Artistic Rights Treasury (A.R.T.), aimed at safeguarding the rights of artists and entities within the entertainment industry.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Review works in progress (WIP) and offer constructive feedback to compositors in alignment with VFX Supervisor/Client requirements.
- Perform compositing tasks of varying complexity levels.
- Collaborate with the VFX Supervisor to recommend enhancements to the pipeline and processes.
- Work with the VFX Supervisor/Production Lead to estimate project timelines for shots completion.
- Supervise vendor throughput by providing supportive feedback and guidance on methodologies.
- Conduct Quality Control checks on final composites to identify issues and propose solutions.
- Develop specialized compositing techniques for visual face dubbing.
- Provide mentorship to junior compositors when necessary.
Key Requirements:
- Over 6 years of experience in high-end compositing.
- Proficiency in leading a team of compositing professionals.
- Strong multitasking, prioritization, and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Thorough knowledge of VFX principles and vfx studio pipelines.
- Advanced expertise in Nuke, including warping, stmaps, CopyCat usage, and Gizmos creation.
- Preferred experience in beauty work and familiarity with KeenTools FaceTracker plugins for Nuke.
- Skilled in tracking and matchmoving, 3D camera tracking, and projections.
- Proficient in object removal, relighting, and paint work.
- Exceptional eye for photorealism, composition, lighting, especially in face-related tasks.
- Previous exposure to ShotGrid (Flow Production Tracking) design and development.
- Interest in engaging with and contributing to the advancement of cutting-edge AI tools.
Compensation:
Annual salary range of $170,000 - $180,000.
