Role Summary

As a member of the Communications team within the Marketing & Community department at Oasis Foundation, you will be responsible for creating and refining content. Reporting to the Communications Lead, your tasks will include shaping Oasis's narrative, writing for the blog, crafting Op-Eds for renowned crypto publications, and contributing to social media content. Collaborating with internal and external partners, you will maintain a user-centric and data-informed approach to content creation and social media, catering to our target audiences: BUIDLERs and HODLERs vested in EVM.

This remote role is open to applicants in North America and Western Europe, with semiannual in-person team meetings.

Key responsibilities

• Develop compelling blog posts and Op-Eds while ensuring consistency in messaging across various target demographics
• Generate diverse media content like videos, photos, and podcasts
• Enrich brand messaging and thought leadership based on data-driven insights and audience segmentation
• Work with the Marketing & Community team on SEO-driven Inbound Marketing campaigns
• Assist in internationalizing content creation efforts, particularly focusing on English-speaking regions
• Produce Op-Eds to raise brand awareness, drawing on both internal and external resources when necessary
• Aid in social media content creation
• Provide support to dApps integrated with the Oasis ecosystem and partner organizations
• Establish consistent content programs such as webinar series, podcasts, collaborations with influencers, and advertorials
• Write Op-Eds across owned and earned channels
• Collaborate with the PR freelancer to boost engagement with top-tier publications
• Craft blogs highlighting Oasis's leadership in privacy within the blockchain realm and key sectors like DeFi, gaming, DAO governance, AI, and technical topics such as Account Abstraction and TEEs vs ZK
• Align Communications with Growth, Events, Branding, and Community efforts alongside the Marketing & Community team with a focus on leveraging data-backed insights
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Business Development, and Operations teams to deliver cohesive campaigns and enhanced User Experience
• Contribute to Employer Branding activities in coordination with the HR department
• Deliver regular reports and insights to the broader Marketing team and Oasis Foundation Board

Must have skills and attributes

• 4+ years of copywriting and editing experience for reputable publications
• 3+ years of content creation background in blockchain/Web3 projects
• Exceptional copywriting skills and verbal English proficiency
• Proficiency in data-driven content creation, including SEO-oriented content strategies
• Hands-on, proactive, and detail-oriented work ethic
• Strong interest in Cryptocurrency, Blockchain technology, DeFi, Privacy, and AI
• Process-driven and service-focused with meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with diverse stakeholders
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
• Capability to excel in a remote, distributed team setting

Desirable skills

• Familiarity with ZK Proofs or other privacy tech
• Knowledge of various DeFi and Gaming dApps
• Comfort with decentralized tools like Metamask and DEXs

Community and Marketing teams:

• Community Team: Engages with and supports the Oasis Protocol community, manages community channels, provides technical assistance, and gathers feedback to enhance the platform.

This full-time position offers payment in USDT or USDC cryptocurrency and allows for flexible, remote work locations within the USA or Europe.
