Responsibilities:
As the Circle Ventures and Ecosystem Director, you will conceptualize and implement strategies to cultivate, sustain, and expand our partner ecosystem. Collaborating closely with internal teams and external partners, your role will involve broadening market presence and enhancing partners' value through strategic collaborations and alliances. You will serve as the primary liaison for Circle Ventures, fostering broad engagement and mutually beneficial activities with ecosystem partners encompassing builders, entrepreneurs, portfolio companies, venture firms, and beyond.
Our team seeks to:
- Identify valuable insights, opportunities, and alignment amid the noise to contribute to our priorities. This involves extracting intelligence from internal departments (primarily product, engineering, and business units) and interacting within the entrepreneurial community to stay informed of trends.
- Provide guidance through sound business acumen to facilitate leadership's pivotal partnering, product, and investment choices.
- Execute top-notch deals to align the organization toward our goals effectively.
Key responsibilities:
- Collaborate across Circle to align with our ecosystem segmentation and its potential.
- Develop, execute, and manage programs and content to activate our diverse ecosystem of startups, entrepreneurs, and aligned investors through multidisciplinary approaches.
- Oversee engagement and programs for our broad portfolio of investments, while leading external and internal communications for Circle Ventures.
- Regularly engage with ecosystem participants to enhance relationships and influence narratives.
- Compile strategic insights for internal use to impact Circle positively.
- Identify investment and partnership prospects, ascertain competitive threats, and monitor industry trends within financial services, technology, and crypto sectors.
- Promote USDC and establish Circle's presence within the wider VC ecosystem.
- Cultivate a deep understanding of the landscape, trends, and dynamics in our operating environment.

Qualifications:
- 12+ years of relevant experience in ecosystem and partner development, partner marketing, business development, venture investment, or management consulting.
- A track record of building and nurturing partner ecosystems within blockchain/Web3.
- Proficient skills, including strong quantitative and analytical abilities, effective communication, executive presence, motivation, intellectual curiosity, and humility.
- Proven capability to foster relationships both internally and externally, lead projects and deals, and prioritize opportunities in a fast-paced corporate environment.
- Familiarity with Slack, Apple MacOS, and GSuite.
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Business, or related fields required; an MBA or advanced degree is advantageous.
Additional details:
- Eligibility for day-one PERM sponsorship for suitable candidates.
- Compensation includes but is not limited to relevant experience, skill set, qualifications, and organizational needs, with a salary range of $207,500 - $240,000 and an annual bonus target of 20%.
