Description
Astra Dao is looking for a committed Crypto QA Engineer who is deeply involved in the crypto ecosystem and dedicated to ensuring the dependability and security of our products.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Execute Test Strategies: Formulate and implement thorough test plans and test cases for our SaaS applications and APIs, concentrating on functionality, security, and performance.
- Automate Testing Workflows: Use tools such as Reflect.Run and Cypress to automate integration and end-to-end testing, and integrate these processes into our CI/CD pipeline using GitHub Actions.
- API Testing: Devise and carry out tests for APIs to guarantee they meet performance and security standards, employing tools like Postman for comprehensive validation.
- Security and Load Testing: Lead security evaluations and performance testing of our SaaS products to pinpoint potential vulnerabilities and ensure scalability.
- Collaborative Development: Engage closely with development teams to grasp the architecture of our Next.js and TypeScript applications, guaranteeing seamless integration and high-quality deliverables.
- Community Engagement: Connect with the crypto community to collect feedback and insights to drive continuous product improvement.
- User Experience Testing: Utilize tools like Maze and Lookback to perform usability testing and gather user feedback, thereby enriching the overall user experience.
- Feature Management and Experimentation: Implement feature flagging and A/B testing using Split.io to supervise feature releases and conduct experiments, monitoring the impact of new features.
Requirements
- Proven QA Experience: Demonstrated experience as a QA Engineer, preferably within the SaaS or crypto sector, with a strong concentration on web applications and APIs.
- Technical Proficiency: Profound understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, and contemporary testing frameworks. Awareness of cloud platforms, predominantly Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Crypto Enthusiast: Extensive knowledge of the cryptocurrency landscape and active participation in the crypto community. A self-proclaimed "degen" with a strong interest in crypto projects and trends.
- Detail-Oriented: Outstanding analytical skills and attention to detail, with a knack for identifying and resolving issues effectively.
- Effective Communicator: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to collaborate efficiently with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- API Testing Expertise: Hands-on experience with API testing tools and methodologies.
- Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile frameworks and practices, including regression testing.
