Primary Responsibilities
Video Production:
Create top-quality videos and short clips.
Generate content for various social media platforms like YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Instagram Reels.
Edit films to ensure seamless transitions.
Manage and categorize video assets.
Optimize videos for mobile and web viewing.
Editing Process:
Interpret the needs and requirements of the production team.
Review scripts and raw footage to construct shot lists.
Trim, arrange, and sequence footage effectively.
Incorporate music, dialogue, graphics, and effects.
Develop both initial rough cuts and final edits.
Maintain logical sequencing and smooth flow.
Collaborate with stakeholders during editing stages.
Stay updated on new editing tools and techniques.
Explore diverse editing approaches.
Ensure adherence to industry standards.
Adjust formats and resolutions as necessary.
Channel Growth:
Devise and implement strategies to enhance the Token Metrics YouTube channel's subscriber base.
Required Skills:
Technical Proficiency:
Advanced knowledge of Adobe Premiere and After Effects.
Proficient in using editing software such as Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, and Final Cut.
Familiarity with non-linear video editing tools like Edius, Photoshop, and Lightroom.
Social Media Mastery:
Experience in leveraging social platforms like YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Instagram Reels.
Industry Understanding:
Preferably acquainted with the crypto or trading industry.
Scriptwriting Skills:
Proficiency in crafting engaging video scripts.

About the Role
We are seeking an Associate Producer to support the planning, production, and release of podcasts and media content at The Block. The ideal candidate is a motivated individual with strong knowledge of the crypto industry and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Responsibilities
Propose guest and episode ideas to media and podcast hosts on relevant topics within the crypto space
Coordinate and schedule recordings with guests, ensuring technical checks are in place
Conduct research and provide hosts with content and questions
Assist in publishing and maintaining episode records
Help generate ideas for new media projects and oversee their production
Support in the research and planning of various media initiatives
Requirements
Deep understanding of the crypto industry with a keen interest in emerging trends
2+ years of experience in podcast or video production, including recording and editing processes
Familiarity with tools like Riverside, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Wordpress
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with great attention to detail
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, remote environment

What Success Means
