About the Role

We are seeking an Associate Producer to support the planning, production, and release of podcasts and media content at The Block. The ideal candidate is a motivated individual with strong knowledge of the crypto industry and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Propose guest and episode ideas to media and podcast hosts on relevant topics within the crypto space
  • Coordinate and schedule recordings with guests, ensuring technical checks are in place
  • Conduct research and provide hosts with content and questions
  • Assist in publishing and maintaining episode records
  • Help generate ideas for new media projects and oversee their production
  • Support in the research and planning of various media initiatives

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of the crypto industry with a keen interest in emerging trends
  • 2+ years of experience in podcast or video production, including recording and editing processes
  • Familiarity with tools like Riverside, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Wordpress
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with great attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, remote environment
  • Proactive mindset with a focus on problem-solving and taking ownership

What Success Means

Within 3-6 months in this role, you will be expected to have successfully managed multiple podcast recordings, established strong relationships within the team, contributed innovative ideas aligned with The Block's voice, and demonstrated proficiency with media tools and workflows.
