About the Role

We are looking for a talented Data Architect to join our dynamic data team. In this position, you will be responsible for designing and managing our data architecture to support the evolving needs of our data operations. As a Data Architect at our organization, you will contribute significantly to shaping our data infrastructure, optimizing data flow and storage for both real-time and batch-processing systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement data architectures using various tools such as AWS EMR, Hive, S3, and PySpark.
  • Utilize open-source tools like airflow and open metadata for enhanced data management.
  • Develop AWS scripts or tools to streamline the data development process.
  • Implement and manage data solutions leveraging Alibaba Cloud MaxCompute and PAI for advanced data analytics.
  • Create and maintain scalable data pipelines while ensuring consistency across multiple data initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and ensure data architecture aligns with business objectives.
  • Uphold data governance and security best practices across the organization.
  • Optimize data retrieval processes and generate dashboard visualizations to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related technical issues to enhance system performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a data architect role, preferably in fintech or cryptocurrency exchange sectors.
  • Proficiency in AWS services like EMR, Hive, and S3.
  • Strong knowledge of PySpark, Python, with additional familiarity with Java and GoLang.
  • Expertise in Alibaba Cloud MaxCompute and PAI.
  • Sound understanding of data architecture principles, ETL processes, and big data technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
