Overview: We are looking for a proactive individual with legal expertise to contribute to our Legal (Data Privacy) Team. This role offers the opportunity to be a core member of the team in a rapidly growing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the DPO's email inbox and promptly escalate queries as necessary.
  • Ensure timely processing of data subject rights requests within legal timeframes.
  • Create detailed reports on customer/user requests.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to implement data protection best practices.
  • Support senior management with reporting on key risk indicators and workflow metrics.
  • Maintain an updated data record list (data mapping).
  • Assist in conducting data privacy impact assessments.
  • Review Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) and Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).
  • Support the DPO in audit-related tasks.
  • Implement tools and processes to enhance data protection practices.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of legal or specialized experience in data protection and privacy.
  • Thorough knowledge of data protection laws, regulations, and guidelines (e.g., GDPR, ePrivacy Regulation).
  • Demonstrated experience in process design and improvement, proficient in using IT tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Previous experience in the Fintech/cryptocurrency sector is a bonus.
  • Certification in data protection (e.g., CIPP/E, CIPM) is advantageous.
