Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with internal departments, including Legal & Compliance, the institutional division, and other business stakeholders to address contractual matters in alignment with company goals.
Review, draft, negotiate, and advise on a range of business contracts such as alliances, strategic partnerships, client services, and vendor agreements.
Assist in M&A transactions and strategic corporate developments, including due diligence, document preparation, closing procedures, and post-transaction integration.
Develop protocols and practices within the Legal department to enhance efficiency in handling contractual affairs, including signing authorities across entities and execution processes.
Establish a Contracts Management function to enhance business results and cultivate relationships both internally and externally.
Proactively identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks.
Coordinate with external legal counsel as needed.
Requirements
Hold a JD/law degree and be admitted to the bar in at least one U.S. state or the UK.
Possess 8+ years of relevant experience, with a preference for in-house background.
Demonstrated high-performance legal expertise in an in-house environment.
Ability to work effectively under pressure, provide practical advice to clients, and exhibit strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
