Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our Institutional team based in Paris. At Blockchain.com, we cultivate a high-performance culture driven by courage and intense productivity. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic team player eager to expand their knowledge and skills within our dynamic environment, capable of delivering concrete outcomes and optimizing processes efficiently.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing low latency, scalable, and high-performance trading services in RUST, such as Order Management System (OMS), exchange gateways, and risk management systems.
• Improving and maintaining OMS functionality to ensure effective order execution, routing, and management in a high-frequency trading setting.
• Collaborating with a fast-paced engineering team focused on continuous enhancements and advancements of cutting-edge systems.
• Playing a pivotal role in innovating cryptocurrency exchange services and systems, including the construction of new financial products, systems, and infrastructure.
• Exposure to various low latency, high throughput techniques, and algorithms.
• Emphasizing security by implementing sophisticated encryption methods to secure user and company data.
• Close collaboration with other technical teams to deliver top-quality products and optimize performance across all domains.

Qualifications:

• Possess an inherent curiosity and enjoy adopting new technologies.
• Extensive experience in C++ and/or Rust programming languages.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Qualifications in multithreading, network programming (including multicast), and performance benchmarking and tuning.
• Deep interest in delivering high-quality software with a comprehensive understanding of testing methodologies integrated into the development life cycle.
• Acquaintance with trading systems architecture, including Order Management Systems, exchange gateway connectivity, market data processes, and high-throughput, low-latency systems.
• Solution-oriented with a pragmatic approach to addressing complex challenges.
• Strong foundational knowledge in algorithms, data structures, databases, and distributed systems.
