Job Summary: The Accounting division of the Finance team within the company is expanding, seeking a skilled Senior Accountant in Miami. The role involves contributing to the establishment of sustainable accounting processes to support the company's growth while operating with efficiency in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the general ledger to uphold precise and timely financial transaction records.
- Conduct reconciliations for bank accounts, cryptocurrencies wallets, and credit cards.
- Collaborate with the Controller to generate journal entries.
- Undertake general ledger account analysis.
- Support in monthly entity closures by executing various financial tasks such as billing, reconciliations, and analysis.
- Ensure conformity with accounting standards like US GAAP and IFRS.
- Assist in developing internal controls procedures.
- Facilitate audits efficiently and promptly.
- Correspond with team members and supervision to promptly address ad hoc requests.
- Assess intercompany reconciliations across controllers to ensure appropriate transaction handling with local GAAPs.
- Supervise and review external consultants' work.
Requirements:
- Demonstrate integrity as a core attribute.
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
- CPA or Chartered Accountant certification is advantageous.
- Acquire 2-5 years of experience in accounting/finance roles, including proficiency in monthly closing, reconciliations, and general ledger accounting, preferably in financial services.
- Proficient in Excel and accounting software like NetSuite, Trovata, and FloQast.
- Exhibit interest in the crypto industry with a grasp of evolving global regulations.
- Preferably have prior experience in crypto, fintech, or start-up environments.
- Experience in international accounting is favorable.
- Strong oral and written communication skills required for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Show attention to detail and exhibit teamwork in identifying process enhancements.
- Ability to meet deadlines, maintain quality standards, and manage time effectively.
- Display adaptability to a fast-paced environment and readiness to take on additional responsibilities.

Pay Transparency Notice: Total annual compensation ranges from $120,000 to $190,000 based on skills, experience, location, and market data for individuals working in the United States.
