About the Role: 

The Accountant will be responsible for handling the full set of accounts and daily accounting operations for subsidiaries of the Bitcastle Group. You will perform bookkeeping tasks, prepare financial reports, and support the Finance team in ensuring accurate and timely financial information for management decision-making.

  • Perform daily bookkeeping and maintain full set of accounts for assigned entities within Bitcastle Group
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports for management review
  • Assist in the preparation of group financial consolidation reports
  • Prepare tax filing documents and ensure compliance with local tax regulations
  • Prepare cashflow management reports and perform bank reconciliation
  • Perform crypto wallet and exchange reconciliation
  • Record journal entries, accruals, and adjustments accurately and timely
  • Support profit and loss reporting and basic financial analysis
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining accounting systems and processes
    Prepare financial data required for transfer pricing documentation

     
  • Collaborate with the Finance team to identify accounting issues and propose solutions
    Coordinate with the data team to ensure accuracy of automated reports capturing revenue, expenses, and cryptocurrency balances

Requirements: 

  • Min N2 Japanese language proficiency
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum 2-3 years of accounting experience handling full set accounts
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheet
