Senior DevOps Engineer

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our Institutional team in our Singapore office. The ideal candidate should possess the ability to work efficiently to deliver results and enhance operational processes.

Job Responsibilities:

• Implement state-of-the-art technology to enhance trading performance and reduce complexities.
• Collaborate closely with traders and engineers, taking charge of both operational and trading issues.
• Design, maintain, and provide support for low-latency trading systems to ensure swift data processing and transaction execution.
• Enhance developer experience and deployment processes for our internal platforms using our cloud-native continuous delivery stack.
• Work alongside the core SRE team for tooling feedback and enforce upstream policies.
• Integrate infrastructure-based tooling with code that adheres to established practices.
• Develop monitoring tools for our institutional services.
• Manage a Python/Rust-based infrastructure for production trading, ensuring scalability, fault-tolerance, and cost efficiency of production servers.
• Enhance platform security, reliability, and cost-effectiveness through automation and robust DevOps practices.
• Champion and implement best practices in CI/CD, cloud services, and infrastructure management.
• Deep dive into the existing architecture at Blockchain.com, instill best practices within the Institutional teams, and maintain consistency across the platform.

Job Requirements:

• Proficiency in CI/CD technologies such as GitHub Actions.
• Strong skills in Python, SQL, and Linux.
• Knowledge of Rust is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS and GCP.
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or Salt.
• Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and Nomad.
