We seek an experienced DevOps Team Lead to manage and elevate our growing DevOps team. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive background in Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD pipelines, and will excel in dynamic environments.
Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership & People Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a remote team of DevOps engineers; foster a collaborative and innovative team culture.
- CI/CD Migration: Oversee the migration of CI/CD pipelines from Jenkins to GitLab, ensuring efficiency and minimal downtime.
- Kubernetes Management: Setup and migrate our own Kubernetes (K8s) infrastructure, ensuring scalable, reliable operations.
- Infrastructure as Code: Implement and manage infrastructure as code practices, optimizing deployment processes and reducing manual interventions.
- Bare-Metal Deployment: Manage and troubleshoot bare-metal servers, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- High-Load Handling: Monitor and optimize systems to handle high-load scenarios, ensuring system resilience and performance.
- Security Implementation: Enforce best practices for security across all systems and pipelines to protect against vulnerabilities and threats.
- Monitoring and Observability: Utilize Grafana and Prometheus for system monitoring, ensuring high availability and performance metrics visibility.
- Database Management: Oversee the administration and optimization of Redis, PostgreSQL, Kafka, and RabbitMQ setups.
- OpenSearch Management: Implement and manage OpenSearch configurations for data needs
Requirements:
- Proven experience in leading a DevOps team, focusing on remote team management.
- Strong expertise in Kubernetes (K8s) and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
- Deep understanding and hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitLab, and CI/CD practices.
- Extensive experience with bare-metal servers and high-load system management.
- Proficiency in managing databases like Redis, PostgreSQL, Kafka, and RabbitMQ.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Grafana and Prometheus.
- Solid understanding of security best practices in DevOps.
- Ability to work and excel in a highly dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- English proficiency at B2+ Level or higher.
