The Role
Cega is looking for an experienced director of marketing who will be responsible for both developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies. In this role, you will drive visibility, growth and adoption of Cega’s core products and new products within the blockchain space.
This is an IC role (individual contributor) where you will work cross-functionally with sales, product, data science, and external vendors (e.g. PR). Cega’s Discord community moderators will report to you.
Responsibilities
- Strategy
- Develop quarterly strategy for Cega’s product to target audiences effectively and achieve business objectives
- Define and communicate value proposition and product positioning
- Campaign Planning and Execution
- Successfully launch new Cega products by determining the most effective channels and tactics for marketing campaigns
- Execute marketing campaigns across key channels (Twitter, Discord, Medium, Email, TG, etc)
- Content Creation
- Generate ideas to tell Cega’s story, engage audiences, and drive business objectives
- Run Cega’s Twitter and Medium accounts by producing media/written content
- Insight Identification
- Understand user insights in web3 deeply, supported by empirical evidence or data analyses, and staying on-top of web3 trends
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a marketing lead role or a strategic role (i.e. management consulting)
- Strong logical thinking and communication skills
- Understanding of blockchain and DeFi
- Experience working in brand management
- Native-level English
