Expanding on this, we offer sUSDe, a product that offers crypto-native rewards derived from funding rates in derivatives markets, presenting an appealing alternative to traditional financial system products.
Moreover, we are developing solutions to facilitate institutional adoption of digital assets. USDtb, a stablecoin developed in collaboration with Securitize and Blackrocks BUIDL fund, provides an asset-backed stablecoin option that appeals to institutional clients through established financial infrastructure. Similarly, iUSDe is tailored for traditional financial institutions and incorporates necessary compliance features to enable them to access crypto-native rewards in a compliant manner.
Our most ambitious project, Converge, a joint initiative with Securitize, is a hybrid blockchain designed to serve as the intersection where DeFi meets the needs of traditional finance. This platform aims to be a primary issuance layer for tokenized assets, seamlessly integrating with existing DeFi protocols and providing institutions with a gateway to participate in the decentralized economy.

The Role
As an Execution Trader at Ethena's trading team, you will play a key role in managing the operations, trading, and positioning of the backing assets for USDe. This includes handling collateral movement between custodians, operating an automated execution platform, and engaging with internal stakeholders. This position requires flexibility and trust, as events in the 24/7 marketplace demand rapid responses. The outcomes of your team's execution practices are vital in driving the success of Ethena's products.
Responsibilities:
- Engage in Portfolio Management tasks to oversee USDe’s backing assets, such as spot digital assets, derivatives positions, and placements in DeFi money markets.
- Execute trades efficiently using proprietary algorithms while adhering to strict risk parameters and market conditions.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure seamless trading coverage, particularly during your local working hours (US or Asia), and as needed outside regular hours at the direction of the Head of Trading.
- Contribute to the development and prioritization of features requested by the engineering team to enhance existing tools.
- Monitor real-time market risks (liquidity, volatility, counterparty risks) and adjust positions to minimize exposure.
- Provide regular updates to the Head Trader on portfolio performance, trade outcomes, and market conditions.
Requirements:
- Experience as a senior trader or higher in electronic or quantitative trading.
- Proven track record in cryptocurrency markets, with proficiency in trading perpetual contracts and spot trading using various crypto exchanges.
- Proficient in Python for data analysis, trade evaluation, or backtesting purposes.
- Strong prioritization and communication skills suitable for a fast-paced, high-integrity environment with a focus on delivering impactful results.

Junior Crypto Spot & Perpetual Market-Making Trader
No prior experience is required — we will train the right candidates from the ground up.If you have 1–2 years of experience, great — but this role is not for senior traders.
We want sharp, disciplined operators who want to grow into high-performance liquidity traders.
You will play a key role in maintaining 24/7 liquidity across global markets, working closely with our quant and infra teams to ensure our systems stay ahead of the market.
Key Responsibilities
Market Making & Strategy OperationRun and monitor HFT market-making systems across spot and perpetual markets.
Maintain competitive spreads and reliable liquidity at all times.
Adjust quoting behavior based on volatility and order-flow patterns.
Assist with hedging and inventory management across correlated instruments.
Deltix Trading SystemsOperate strategies in Deltix QuantServer, TimeBase, and StrategyRunner.
Identify issues quickly — stale quotes, latency spikes, disconnections, or risk throttles.
Work with senior traders and engineering to improve strategy logic and routing.
Real-Time Risk Management
Monitor exposure, leverage, and PnL across multiple venues.React quickly to regime shifts, volatility events, and fast markets.Ensure strategies stay within defined limits while maximizing performance.
Market Awareness & Execution SupportTrack liquidity, trends, microstructure shifts, and arbitrage signals.
Flag inefficiencies and opportunities in market behavior.Support coverage during market events, rapid volatility, and system upgrades.
Desk Coverage & Rotation
Participate in a 6-day rotation, including weekends.
Provide clean handovers between regions to ensure 24/7 liquidity.
What We’re Looking For
No experience required — we will train you intensively.
If experienced, max 1–2 years in trading, operations, quant, engineering, or similar.
Strong numerical, analytical, or technical aptitude.
High attention to detail and situational awareness — able to monitor multiple streams of data.
Ability to stay calm and decisive under pressure.
Hunger to learn, improve, and compete in a performance-driven environment.
Willingness to work weekends and operate in a disciplined 6-day schedule.

Smart Contract Developer
We’re looking for an experienced Smart Contract Developer to join our remote team. You’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying secure and efficient smart contracts for blockchain-based applications. The role involves close collaboration with other developers and product leads to bring new ideas to life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, write, and test smart contracts (Solidity)
- Review and optimize existing contracts for gas efficiency and security
- Integrate contracts with front-end or backend services via Web3

Requirements:
