Job Summary:

The Facilities Manager will play a key role in overseeing the daily operations and maintenance of multiple facilities in the Vidalia area. This position involves leading a team of technicians and requires expertise in electrical work. The role is crucial for ensuring operational efficiency and maintaining a high standard of facility upkeep.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervising building and grounds maintenance activities.
  • Managing custodial functions.
  • Implementing security and emergency preparedness procedures.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies for facility cleanliness and maintenance.
  • Directing and monitoring the work of other employees to ensure tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Conducting regular inspections of facilities.
  • Reviewing work done by vendors and contractors.
  • Providing recommendations for maintenance and facility improvements.
  • Communicating workplace safety guidelines to staff.
  • Managing financial and physical resources for facility management.
  • Ensuring adherence to state and federal regulations and assisting with energy management.
  • Overseeing building and ground security.
  • Preparing facilities and equipment for regular and special events.
  • Managing equipment inventory and distribution.
  • Making equipment purchase recommendations.
  • Developing and implementing standard operating procedures.
  • Proficiency in single-phase immersion cooling systems.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge or ability to quickly learn about maintained equipment and facilities.
  • Ability to maintain records and warranties.
  • Proficiency in interpreting manuals and manufacturer's instructions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software for record-keeping.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in facilities maintenance or related functions.
  • Understanding of OSHA and environmental regulations.
  • Knowledge of maintenance methods, operating requirements, and safety precautions in facilities management.
  • Access to reliable transportation.
