Job Summary:

The Facilities Manager will play a key role in overseeing the daily operations and maintenance of multiple facilities in the Vidalia area. This position involves leading a team of technicians and requires expertise in electrical work. The role is crucial for ensuring operational efficiency and maintaining a high standard of facility upkeep.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervising building and grounds maintenance activities.
  • Managing custodial functions.
  • Implementing security and emergency preparedness procedures.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies for facility cleanliness and maintenance.
  • Directing and monitoring the work of other employees to ensure tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Conducting regular inspections of facilities.
  • Reviewing work done by vendors and contractors.
  • Providing recommendations for maintenance and facility improvements.
  • Communicating workplace safety guidelines to staff.
  • Managing financial and physical resources for facility management.
  • Ensuring adherence to state and federal regulations and assisting with energy management.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software for record-keeping.

Qualifications:
