What You’ll Be Doing
- Oversee and manage customers' fiat currency deposits and withdrawals on the exchange platform, ensuring seamless transfers in and out of the exchange.
- Conduct daily reconciliation of fiat balances between the exchange system and bank accounts.
- Address and resolve customer inquiries related to payment processing.
- Analyze and address exceptional items concerning settlements, collaborating with interdepartmental teams and banking partners for swift resolution.
- Contribute to future development initiatives by testing new product offerings.
- Generate performance reports featuring metrics for evaluating performance and suggesting improvements.
- Assist the accounting team with reconciling and other payment-related tasks.
- Review settlement operations, identifying areas for enhancements and automation.
- Support cross-functional teams with ad-hoc requests as needed.
What We Look For In You
- Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial operations, preferably in industries such as crypto exchange, banking, or fintech.
- Proficiency in cryptocurrency markets, blockchain technology, and UAE-related regulations.
- Strong expertise in financial reconciliation and accounting principles.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to handle extensive data sets.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and capacity to perform under pressure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant computer skills.
Nice to Haves
- Fluency in English and Arabic, both written and spoken.
- Familiarity with AML/KYC regulations and compliance procedures is advantageous.
