Finance Manager
We are looking for a proactive Finance Manager to handle financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and accounting operations for our Group entities. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical accounting skills, experience in audit and regulatory reporting, and be comfortable working in a dynamic fintech environment.
The Finance Manager will be instrumental in supporting the full financial reporting cycle, ensuring regulatory filings with the Monetary Authority of Singapore, and driving improvements in finance processes.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Accounting & Reporting
Manage full sets of accounts, financial closing processes, and prepare monthly management reports with detailed variance analysis.
Oversee the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements for the company and subsidiaries, including any necessary consolidations.
Collaborate with external accounting service providers, review financial statements and related schedules.
Prepare and submit regulatory reports and filings mandated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
Support GST reporting and handle other statutory filings in Singapore.
Act as the primary point of contact for treasury functions such as cash flow monitoring, fund allocation, maintenance of bank accounts and fixed deposits, investments, and periodic reporting.
Work closely with external auditors, tax agents, and corporate secretaries to ensure timely compliance with statutory requirements and accounting standards.
Lead initiatives to streamline finance processes, improve financial system functionality, strengthen internal controls, and enhance overall reporting efficiency.
Requirements
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of relevant managerial experience, ideally in corporate accounting and financial reporting.
- Demonstrated proficiency in managing full sets of accounts and financial reporting.
- Previous experience in statutory audit would be beneficial.
Technical Skills
- Solid understanding of financial reporting standards and accounting controls.
- Experience in regulatory reporting within the financial services industry is a plus.
- Familiarity with financial instruments and MAS reporting is desirable.
Soft Skills
- Proactive and detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple deadlines effectively.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to collaborate efficiently in a fast-paced and evolving fintech environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
