Description
Binance, a renowned global blockchain ecosystem renowned worldwide, is seeking a junior Finance Manager for their operations in France. This individual will play a crucial role in executing financial strategies and supporting the rapid growth in the region. Reporting directly to the local Head of Finance, the Finance Manager will enjoy a high level of autonomy and diverse responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Maintain precise financial and company records as per local and global regulatory guidelines.
- Prepare monthly management accounts for France and various EU entities.
- Conduct month-end processes including journal preparation for accruals and prepayments.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations for intercompany balances, bank, fixed assets, AR/AP.
- Prepare periodic tax filings for local tax authorities (VAT, CIT, etc).
- Provide support for financial information preparation for audits.
- Contribute to high-level projects undertaken by the EU Finance team.
- Document and enhance processes and internal financial controls.
- Collaborate with the business stakeholders to offer financial insights aiding decision-making.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in audit, accounting, or finance, with a preference for fintech or crypto industry exposure.
- Proficiency in both French and English languages (written and spoken).
- Excellent knowledge of accounting standards such as IFRS, FR GAAP, French tax, and legal aspects.
- Business School Master's degree (Audit/Finance); an accounting qualification is advantageous.
- Experience with Netsuite software is desirable.
- Strong interest and understanding of the crypto industry.
- Characteristics of high integrity, proactive attitude, organizational skills, patience, and teamwork ability.
- Capable of handling pressure in a fast-paced and dynamically growing environment.
