Finance Product Manager (Derivatives)

Responsibilities:

• Design and refine the underlying logic of trading platforms for derivatives like options and futures to ensure optimal efficiency.
• Foresee market trends and competitor movements to craft trading products such as grid trading, block trades, and trading bots for a diverse client base.
• Develop risk models like isolated margin and portfolio margin to bolster capital efficiency, manage risks proactively, and integrate risk controls into product design.
• Oversee critical parameters like tick size and margin tiers, while prioritizing system stability through continuous monitoring of industry trends and competitor advancements.
• Implement stress testing and automated monitoring tools to identify and address risks promptly.
• Collaborate closely with Legal, Compliance, and Regulatory teams to scale and maintain a compliant trading infrastructure.
• Create monitoring systems and align product development plans with competitive dynamics.
• Coordinate with development, quality assurance, marketing, and operations teams to ensure timely project deliveries.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a STEM field like Mathematics, Physics, Financial Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Ideally, possess 4+ years of experience in backend system development within the crypto or traditional finance sectors.
• Demonstrate strong analytical, communication, and team collaboration skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across various departments.
• Show enthusiasm for blockchain technology, trading, and financial markets.
