Responsibilities
- Input all data accurately into internal accounting system for the CIS region
- Submit month-end closing reports on time for the CIS region using the internal system
- Ensure timely submission of Regulatory Reports in the CIS region
- Maintain compliance and punctual submission of all tax reports for the CIS region
- Maintain accurate records in the 1C system and perform reconciliation with the internal system specifically for Kazakhstan
- Ensure adherence to IFRS, internal policies, and local regulations
- Collaborate with consultants, regulators, banks, and auditors
- Proactively engage in assigned projects
- Contribute to planning and budgeting processes
- Conduct financial and decision support analysis
- Perform thorough reconciliation of all accounts in the region
- Ensure organized document archiving
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in BA or Economics
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, ideally within the crypto or financial sector
- Previous experience in Big 4 or other accounting firms preferred; Accounting certification such as DipIFR, ACCA, or CPA is advantageous
- Profound knowledge of IFRS and Tax code
- Advanced proficiency in Excel
- Strong understanding of 1C system with willingness to learn Oracle
- Team player with excellent analytical skills, keen attention to detail, questioning mindset, and presentation skills
