Front End Engineer - Consumer Services (f/m)

The Consumer Services department aims to provide a comprehensive suite of services to Ledger users, enabling secure buying, swapping, and management of crypto assets. While we are not an exchange platform, we collaborate with service providers to offer a seamless crypto experience under one roof.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the development of Consumer Services on desktop and mobile platforms from a technical perspective.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including developers, QA, designers, and product teams within Consumer Services.
• Facilitate smooth integrations with partner companies by proactively engaging with their teams.
• Uphold code quality and best practices through active participation in code reviews and testing procedures.
• Take ownership of maintaining high standards in Consumer Services' quality.
• Mentor and nurture technical growth within the front-end team.
• Innovate and contribute to the development of crypto services by introducing new ideas and technologies.
• Share knowledge and insights within the Ledger team and beyond.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of front-end software development experience.
• Proficiency in a JavaScript framework, preferably React, and familiarity with TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of testing technologies like Jest, Playwright, and React Testing Library for producing robust applications.
• Attention to detail in UI design and enhancing user experiences proactively.
• Previous experience in handling complex projects emphasizing front-end performance and scalability while emphasizing simplicity.
• Knowledge of modern development tools and practices such as Git, CI/CD pipelines, and agile methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a creative approach to tackling technical challenges.
• A collaborative team player who enjoys knowledge-sharing and learning from peers.
