Frontend Engineer - Onboarding

We are in need of a Frontend Engineer to work in our Toronto office full-time. Our company specializes in digital asset solutions, offering custody, wallets, staking, trading, financing, and settlement services through regulated cold storage. With a global reach and multiple Trust companies, we cater to a wide range of institutions and retail investors worldwide.

As a Frontend Engineer, your primary role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining the UI and frontend components of our onboarding experience. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to produce secure, scalable, and high-quality solutions optimized for our clients' requirements. Expertise in frontend technologies such as React, CSS, and HTML is essential for success in this position.

Role Responsibilities:

• Work closely with design and product teams to conceptualize and build new UI components
• Enhance existing UI functionality on various products
• Create reusable code modules for future projects
• Address codebase health improvements
• Interact with stakeholders across teams to comprehend implementation needs and constraints
• Provide mentorship to broader engineering team members through code reviews and knowledge sharing
• Offer maintenance support and enhance performance on existing applications

Skills & Experience:

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of frontend and UI development experience
• Proficiency in React with solid JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS, and HTML skills
• Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks and design systems
• Competency in unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
• Proficiency in Git/GitHub, branching techniques, code review tools, and CI/CD pipelines
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills:

• Prior exposure to creating consumer-oriented crypto products
• Competence in full-stack development, including knowledge of Node.js and Express applications
• Experience collaborating with clients or business partners

Compensation Details:

Salary for this role typically ranges between $180,000 CAD - $220,000 CAD based on level and location. The package may also include equity and an annual performance bonus.
