Full-Stack Engineer

At Toku, we are a cutting-edge global compensation and employment platform with advanced features for real-time tax calculations, unified global API for employment solutions, and processing non-cash compensation like stock or token grants.

Toku serves as a key partner for crypto companies and their legal representatives for token generation events. Our flagship product, Token Grant Administration (TGA), has rapidly gained significant value on the platform since its launch.

We have secured substantial funding from various investors and continue to grow ambitiously. The team is working on innovative token compensation infrastructure that links digital concepts to real-world applications, providing exciting technical challenges for our engineers.

Role Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with sales and product teams to make informed decisions and contribute to strategic planning
• Uphold coding best practices, focusing on code quality, strong typing, and API design
• Establish and document best practices to ensure scalability of the engineering team's processes and systems
• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and maintain high technical standards at Toku

Requirements:

• 4+ years of software engineering experience at a venture-backed startup
• Proficient in writing maintainable code in fast-paced, agile environments
• Demonstrated success in diverse projects involving various technologies and systems
• Self-driven with a proactive approach to implementing new ideas independently
• Ability to integrate multiple services and processes effectively, even with limited prior experience
• Strong familiarity with high-quality code standards and software engineering practices
• Experience or interest in working in a dynamic remote-first startup environment
• Hands-on experience in building and scaling impactful front-end and back-end systems
• Exceptional teamwork, analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and communication proficiency
• Entrepreneurial mindset, with a track record of founding companies or executing side projects as a bonus
• North America Time Zone availability
