Role Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with sales and product teams to make informed decisions and contribute to strategic planning
- Uphold coding best practices, focusing on code quality, strong typing, and API design
- Establish and document best practices to ensure scalability of the engineering team's processes and systems
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and maintain high technical standards at Toku
Requirements:
- 4+ years of software engineering experience at a venture-backed startup
- Proficient in writing maintainable code in fast-paced, agile environments
- Demonstrated success in diverse projects involving various technologies and systems
- Self-driven with a proactive approach to implementing new ideas independently
- Ability to integrate multiple services and processes effectively, even with limited prior experience
- Strong familiarity with high-quality code standards and software engineering practices
- Experience or interest in working in a dynamic remote-first startup environment
- Hands-on experience in building and scaling impactful front-end and back-end systems
- Exceptional teamwork, analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and communication proficiency
- Entrepreneurial mindset, with a track record of founding companies or executing side projects as a bonus
