About the role
As a Full-Stack Engineer at Toku, you will play a pivotal role in executing both technically and culturally within the organization. You will work on high-impact, user-facing products that are integral to the user experience. The role involves close collaboration with founders, ambitious roadmaps, and the continuous delivery of innovative solutions.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the sales and product teams to drive decisions and strategies.
- Follow best practices for code quality, type safety, and API design.
- Contribute to establishing best practices for documentation of systems and processes to ensure scalability.
- Identify and implement opportunities to enhance existing practices while maintaining high technical standards.
Requirements
- Possess a minimum of 4 years of software engineering experience at a venture-backed startup.
- Demonstrate the ability to write quality, maintainable code in an agile environment.
- Showcase proficiency in project completion across different technologies and systems.
- Exhibit a self-starter attitude with the ability to execute new ideas independently.
- Have experience in integrating diverse services and processes seamlessly.
- Display a strong understanding of high-quality code and software engineering practices.
- Show interest or experience in remote-first startup environments.
- Demonstrate scrappiness and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Have a background in building front-end and back-end systems and scaling products effectively.
- Offer exceptional teamwork, analytical, project management, and communication skills.
- Prior experience in founding a company or working on side projects is a plus.
- Availability working in the North America Time Zone.
