The Role
We are currently looking for an experienced Global Head of Business Development to lead the expansion and nurturing of Story's global ecosystem. This critical role involves overseeing strategic partnerships, initiating business growth initiatives across various regions, and managing partnerships for successful project launches on the Story platform.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and prioritize a global business development strategy, fostering innovative applications within the Story ecosystem and forging partnerships with mainstream companies.
- Market Expansion: Undertake comprehensive market research to customize strategies for different regions, ensuring alignment with local market needs.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and other teams to align business goals with overall company objectives.
- APAC Event and Media Coordination: Plan and execute local events, meetups, and media engagements to enhance brand awareness and educate communities.
- Support Strategic Initiatives: Partner with executive leadership to drive key strategic partnership initiatives on a global scale.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain an updated partnership pipeline, ensuring efficient communication and project execution alignment across teams.
Qualifications
- Proven Business Development Expertise: Over 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or venture capital, specifically in the blockchain or technology sectors.
- Global Market Knowledge: Extensive experience in navigating and expanding into international markets, with a deep understanding of regional nuances.
- Blockchain and Ecosystem Experience: Profound understanding of blockchain technology and previous involvement in leading ecosystem growth or partnerships.
- Strategic Thinker: Ability to devise and implement strategic plans in line with business goals and market dynamics.
- Exceptional Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities, with the capacity to create engaging narratives.
- Highly Organized and Process-Driven: Skilled in managing multiple projects simultaneously, focusing on organization and process efficiency.
- Collaborative and Adaptable: Team-oriented individual comfortable working in diverse, fast-paced environments across various time zones and cultures.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
