As the company grows rapidly, we are seeking a Global Payroll Manager to enhance customer relationships and efficiently manage payroll operations on a large scale. The main focus of this role is to ensure customer satisfaction and address any issues related to payroll, employment, token grants, and compliance on a global scale.
Our teams of Customer Success and Payroll experts are proficient in handling payroll and token grant matters, requiring proficiency in payroll management either in-house or with a payroll provider/EOR. This position involves blending foundational payroll knowledge with customer relationship management. The ideal candidate will guarantee payroll accuracy, compliance, and exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- First point of contact for clients, addressing payroll-related inquiries and resolving routine issues.
- Guide clients through the onboarding process to ensure a seamless transition to our payroll services.
- Assist in resolving payroll discrepancies or errors, collaborating with internal teams and local partners for quick resolutions.
- Escalate complex payroll or compliance issues to senior team members for prompt resolution and client communication.
- Collaborate with various teams to uphold seamless customer experiences, address inquiries effectively, and meet customer needs.
- Conduct regular customer check-ins to gauge satisfaction levels, identify areas for improvement, and offer best practice advice.
- Aid in payroll processing, ensuring accurate wage calculations, deductions, and compliance with local regulations.
- Work with stakeholders to guarantee correct payroll execution and adherence to country-specific laws, managing payroll submissions including salary adjustments, bonuses, and deductions.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of experience in a payroll role, either in-house or with an external provider.
- Proficiency in managing internal and external stakeholders, problem-solving, and maintaining relationships.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective customer engagement.
