Responsibilities:
Reporting to a senior trader, you will engage in front, middle, and back office tasks to understand the holistic trading function. This role requires you to aspire to advance to the position of a Senior Trader, managing your book effectively.
- Participate in researching and developing new trading strategies
- Engage in quantitative analysis to enhance existing trading strategies
- Contribute to idea generation, strategy formulation, back-testing, and implementation
- Monitor the operation of live trading strategies
- Coordinate with exchange counterparts on key trading requirements
- Collaborate with trading, middle office, and finance teams for timely, accurate trade bookings and reconciliation
- Assess cryptocurrency market products to match various trading strategy needs
Required Skills:
- No prior trading or cryptocurrency experience is necessary, but a passion for the industry is essential
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Maths, Engineering, or a related quantitative field
- Proficiency in Python/C++ and other data manipulation technologies, including Excel
- Knowledge of big data mathematical modeling, data mining, and machine learning is advantageous
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
