Head of Operations & Outsourcing

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive support to the Firm's Head in effectively managing daily business operations, particularly ensuring the attainment of Binance's business objectives in the European region.
- Oversee and handle the day-to-day business activities of the company in Europe, in close coordination with both local and global department heads to facilitate smooth operations.
- Ensure the operational structure, governance, personnel, processes, and technology are optimized to accommodate and drive business scalability across the region.
- Develop and implement operational strategies that align with business goals and growth targets.
- Ensure the delivery of outsourced services align with regulatory requirements, industry standards, internal policies, and agreed service level agreements.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with external partners, vendors, and service providers.
- Implement operational leadership strategies across functions to fulfill the strategic plan in line with legislative, regulatory, and operational requirements.
- Establish and manage a robust performance management framework in compliance with HCMC expectations and ESMA Guidelines regarding the oversight of outsourced services.
- Collaborate closely with key departments such as Finance, Risk, Compliance, and Internal Audit to foster cohesion in operational and outsourcing efforts.
Requirements
- Possess an undergraduate degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience as a COO/Head of Operations in an EU-regulated organization, preferentially under HCMC or a similar governing body.
- In-depth understanding of ESMA and HCMC regulations, guidelines, and reporting practices.
- Strong communication and influencing skills across all organizational levels and external stakeholders.
- Ability to excel in a dynamic international fintech/financial services setting.
- Proficient in analytical skills to translate central requirements into practical and compliant local solutions.
- Sound comprehension of regulated financial services functions such as Compliance, Finance, Risk, Treasury, Audit, and Outsourcing.
