Overview

The Head of Product, reporting to the Director of Product, will play a crucial role in advancing our product function to a world-class level. This position involves overseeing product and design aspects, fostering collaboration with our engineering team, and driving product excellence. The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience in leading product development for top-tier SaaS products, with the opportunity to make significant contributions in a rapidly expanding industry.

Key Responsibilities

We seek a candidate who can perform a dual role involving hands-on product development and team management. Responsibilities include:

• Engaging with users directly to identify product requirements and features.
• Collaborating closely with the engineering team to oversee and drive product enhancements.
• Managing product and design teams, encompassing goal setting, performance reviews, and daily operations.
• Analyzing and enhancing product management procedures to implement best industry practices and achieve excellence.
• Serving as a liaison for user feedback and leveraging insights to inform product decisions.
• Transforming user feedback into a structured plan for product development.
• Translating high-level strategic objectives into Measurable team goals.
• Forming strong professional relationships across departments to ensure seamless communication and alignment.
• Planning and executing sprint activities in collaboration with the Technical Project Management team.
• Monitoring resource capacity and adjusting workloads to prioritize pivotal tasks for product advancement.

Requirements for Applicants

• Minimum of 8 years of hands-on software product management experience in agile environments, preferably at scale-ups or rapidly growing organizations.
• At least 3 years in a product leadership role, involving management, recruitment, and development of product managers and designers.
• Strong preference for prior experience in SaaS or B2B products serving both SMB and Enterprise customers.
• Ability to use qualitative and quantitative insights to define strategies, goals, and roadmaps.
• Proficiency in decision-making and problem-solving in complex, unstructured situations.
• Demonstrated success in managing teams and leading cross-functional groups.
• Commitment to mentorship and team member development.
