Role Overview:

We are seeking an adept professional for the role of IFS Cloud Technical Resource. The primary focus of this position involves the support and advancement of an IFS Cloud environment by amalgamating system administration, configuration, and technical development. Responsibilities include managing users, optimizing system performance, customizing business processes and interfaces, and building integrations using PL/SQL and APIs. Collaboration with functional teams is essential to convert business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Administration (System Admin)

• Supervise user management, roles, and permission sets, including access levels.
• Oversee background jobs, schedules, print agent queues, and workflow triggers.
• Troubleshoot and monitor IFS Connect traffic, queues, routing rules, and message errors.
• Assist in data migrations using various methods and support performance troubleshooting in collaboration with IFS Support.
• Maintain logs and standard operating procedures.

Configuration (Functional–Technical)

• Create and maintain Custom Fields, Entities, and Pages.
• Utilize Aurena Page Designer for UI modifications and customization.
• Configure lobby pages, KPIs, dashboards, and notifications.
• Manage workflows, business rules, statuses/lifecycles, and module parameters.
• Configure report data sources, business reports, and print agent settings.
• Establish and oversee REST API access for integrations.

Development (Technical)

• Develop and manage custom projections, events, and server-side logic.
• Design or extend REST/SOAP APIs and integration transformations in IFS Connect.
• Provide support for server-side logic in PL/SQL.
• Design and manage reports using IFS Report Designer and support legacy reporting tools where applicable.

Quality, Security & Compliance

• Validate APIs and integrations through tools like Postman and SOAP UI.
• Maintain technical documentation including integration maps and test plans.

Required Qualifications

• Technical background with practical experience in IFS Cloud, including Aurena, projections, and APIs.
• Proficiency in PL/SQL and solid skills in IFS configuration.
• Experience with IFS Connect, REST/SOAP integrations, and report configuration.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to various IFS modules such as Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Projects, Finance, and Service.
• Familiarity with collaborating with IFS Support.

Tools & Technologies

• Proficiency in IFS Cloud, languages like PL/SQL, testing tools including Postman and SOAP UI, and data querying using Oracle SQL.
