Your mission

Join our InfoSec team at Bitpanda as an Information Security Specialist and play a crucial role in ensuring the security posture of our company. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing compliance standards, enhancing IT governance, and managing IT risk. Conducting regular cyber risk assessments will be part of your responsibilities to maintain an up-to-date overview of potential risks.

What you'll do

  • Collaborate in planning and implementing an Information Security Management System (ISMS)
  • Perform risk assessments and monitor incidents and vulnerabilities
  • Establish and enforce cyber security policies and protocols
  • Provide insights and track the effectiveness of our security efforts
  • Support the business with security gap analyses and project-related security documentation

Who you are

  • Hold a university degree in IT, Technology, Security, Business IT, or related field
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Knowledge of leading standards and regulations such as ITIL, GDPR, ISO27001, BSI, NISG
  • Previous experience with AWS
  • Certification(s) such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, CRISC, ITIL, would be advantageous
  • Possess 3+ years of experience in security, governance, compliance, or risk management
