Institutional Sales Manager
About the Role:
Define and develop relationships with institutional and high-net worth clients within the fast-growing crypto and blockchain industry. There are limitless possibilities for potential clients in this dynamic sector. Take the lead in identifying and pitching to institutional leads, celebrating achievements such as onboarding clients to new crypto instruments or creating customized crypto products unparalleled in the market.
Craft and customize products for clients as the industry transitions traditional financial services into the realm of crypto. Your input and creativity in tailoring product offerings for institutional clients are highly valued and supported by the team.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and reach out to institutional client leads.
- Understand client requirements and present relevant products, including market maker/taker programs, OTC, custody, and staking.
- Represent the company at conferences, engaging and building relationships with institutional players to enhance awareness of our products and services.
- Participate in community reach activities, attending gatherings to expand our institutional presence.
- Conduct market research on trends in the crypto institutional space.
- Negotiate and finalize client or partnership agreements.
- Propose new crypto institutional offerings.
- Maintain regular communication with institutional clients, gather feedback, and suggest product enhancements.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) we track:
- Number of new clients onboarded.
- Volume of client transactions.
- Revenue and profit generated.
Requirements:
- Over 3 years of experience in Institutional Outbound Sales.
- At least 1 year of experience in digital assets, cryptocurrency, or web3 in outbound sales, ideally in Exchange/Custodian/Prime Broker roles.
- Knowledge of institutional products like market maker/taker programs, OTC, custody, and staking.
- Strong network or client base in the cryptocurrency industry, spanning hedge funds, trading firms, banks, OTC desks, and more.
- Candidates with more experience may be considered for Senior Institutional Sales roles.
- Demonstrated track record of initiating and managing relationships with clients or partners.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Proficiency in English language.
