About The Role
This role involves close collaboration with regional stakeholders, product teams, risk, and compliance to drive excellence in operations, ensure liquidity, mitigate risks, and provide users with a top-tier trading experience.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
- Monitoring daily performance of the P2P platform in LATAM, overseeing liquidity, order success rates, and user behaviors.
- Identifying operational bottlenecks and suggesting data-based solutions for platform enhancement.
- Working with risk and compliance teams to maintain secure marketplace operations and compliance with local regulations.
- Executing operational tasks like merchant vetting, transaction monitoring, quality assessment, and policy enforcement.
- Analyzing P2P market trends, payment methods, and competitive dynamics across LATAM.
- Supporting merchant ecosystem growth through onboarding, performance tracking, incentive programs, and quality enhancements.
- Ensuring balanced liquidity for key fiat pairs and payment channels in diverse LATAM markets.
- Establishing dashboards, reports, and metrics to monitor LATAM P2P market conditions and internal KPIs.
- Monitoring indicators such as spread competitiveness, completion rates, cancellations, and fraud patterns.
- Providing business insights to internal teams for strategy and roadmap decisions.
- Collaborating with product teams to relay regional needs, test P2P features, and assist with local launches.
- Partnering with marketing and community teams on regional campaigns, expansion of payment methods, and user education.
- Working closely with customer support and dispute resolution teams to ensure effective user case management.
Requirements
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields like Business, Economics, Finance, or Engineering.
- 2+ years of experience in P2P operations, marketplace operations, crypto exchanges, banking, or fintech.
- Strong understanding of LATAM's crypto landscape, regulations, and user behaviors.
- Analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, SQL, or data visualization tools.
- Ability to work effectively in a demanding environment with attention to detail and responsibility.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages like Spanish, Portuguese, or Chinese is advantageous.
Nice To Have
Preferred qualifications may include:
- Previous experience in merchant management within a P2P or marketplace setup.
- Knowledge of anti-fraud methods, transaction monitoring, or operational risk frameworks.
