Description
Responsibilities:
- Manage workload effectively and escalate key risks promptly to management.
- Review and validate client onboarding applications within specified timelines.
- Collaborate closely with Relationship Partner Teams and clients to gather necessary documentation for KYC due diligence.
- Utilize compliance applications like World-Check and Jumio proficiently.
- Act as a checker for robust due diligence processes.
- Conduct risk assessments, periodic reviews, and enhanced due diligence.
- Monitor and document abnormal activities or AML flags.
- Engage in internal and external training programs related to AML/CFT and other relevant subjects.
- Handle administrative activities in alignment with business needs.
- Review corporate clients' constitutional documents and related searches.
- Conduct screenings against PEP, TF, Adverse Media, and ML risks.
- Translate corporate documents into English when necessary.
- Prepare detailed escalation forms for senior management.
- Provide feedback on system enhancements and deficiencies.
- Implement procedures in the onboarding environment to address procedural gaps.
- Identify suspicious documentation and ensure accurate data entry.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in corporate onboarding with in-depth knowledge of compliance rules and regulations.
- Fluency in English is required, additional European language proficiency is beneficial.
- Familiarity with different client types and EEA jurisdictions.
- Experience in reviewing AML Policies and Procedures.
- Solid understanding of Virtual Asset Service Providers' business models.
- Ability to handle high-risk KYB cases and assess Financial Institutions and Broker client profiles.
- Preferred certifications include ACAMS/CAMS/CCAS/ICA or related qualifications.
- Strong time management, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of local laws, directives, and regulations relevant to compliance.
- Understanding of upcoming regulations in virtual currency policies is advantageous.
