Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate onboarding applications for Institutional and VIP Clients, guaranteeing alignment with international and regional regulatory norms (APAC, MENA, EU, LATAM).
- Collaborate with VIP sales managers to explain complex compliance requirements to clients effectively.
- Engage with multiple compliance departments (central compliance, MRLOs, High Risk Client Teams) to identify and enhance policy and procedural areas.
- Partner with product teams to enrich frontend UI/UX and streamline backend system performance.
- Draft Business Request Documents (BRDs) to record enhancements and launch initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience of at least 3 years in the Banking sector (Preference given to experience in Private Banking, Investment Banking, or Institutional Banking).
- Proficient understanding of offshore investment funds (e.g., Cayman Islands, British Virgin Islands, etc.).
- Solid comprehension of intricate organizational frameworks.
- Competency in utilizing Screening tools like World-Check, Jumio, and others.
- Familiarity with MAS and HKMA regulations as a base requirement.
- Ability to articulate and simplify complicated compliance requirements for both Clients and the VIP Sales team to comprehend.
