Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate onboarding applications for Institutional and VIP Clients, guaranteeing alignment with international and regional regulatory norms (APAC, MENA, EU, LATAM).
• Collaborate with VIP sales managers to explain complex compliance requirements to clients effectively.
• Engage with multiple compliance departments (central compliance, MRLOs, High Risk Client Teams) to identify and enhance policy and procedural areas.
• Partner with product teams to enrich frontend UI/UX and streamline backend system performance.
• Draft Business Request Documents (BRDs) to record enhancements and launch initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience of at least 3 years in the Banking sector (Preference given to experience in Private Banking, Investment Banking, or Institutional Banking).
• Proficient understanding of offshore investment funds (e.g., Cayman Islands, British Virgin Islands, etc.).
• Solid comprehension of intricate organizational frameworks.
• Competency in utilizing Screening tools like World-Check, Jumio, and others.
• Familiarity with MAS and HKMA regulations as a base requirement.
• Ability to articulate and simplify complicated compliance requirements for both Clients and the VIP Sales team to comprehend.
• Capable of performing well in high-pressure environments with strict SLAs.
• Independent and motivated individual with a drive to enhance processes.
• Strong skills in basic Data Analytics for Management Information.
• Demonstrated ability to strategize leveraging statistical research for enhancing team performance.
