KYB Analyst - Periodic Review (Offshore)

Responsibilities:
- Efficiently manage individual workload and promptly escalate significant risks or issues to management
- Review and validate all client onboarding applications within specified SLAs
- Maintain strong relationships with Relationship Partner Teams, clients, and other relevant parties to gather essential supporting materials for KYC due diligence
- Utilize compliance applications such as World-Check, Jumio, etc. proficiently
- Conduct effective 2-eyed and 4-eyed customer due diligence procedures as a checker
- Proficiently assess risks, conduct periodic/trigger reviews, and enhanced due diligence measures
- Monitor and document unusual activities or AML flags
- Participate in both internal and external training programs on AML/CFT and related areas
- Act as a point of contact for Periodic Reviews inquiries
- Collaborate with different departments and internal teams to ensure seamless review processes
- Address issues encountered in reviews for VIP and Broker accounts in coordination with Key Account Managers (KAMs)
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness
- Undertake general administration and related ancillary activities in alignment with business requirements
- Review corporate clients' constitutional documents and associated parties
- Conduct open-source searches on regulatory, public listing, and licensing status matters
- Perform WorldCheck screening related to PEP, TF, Adverse Media, and ML risks
- Translate corporate documents to English
- Prepare detailed risk assessments and escalate forms for senior management and MLRO
- Provide feedback on system issues, gaps, and necessary upgrades
- Implement procedures in onboarding environment while identifying any procedural gaps
- Identify suspicious and falsified documentation and ensure accurate manual data entry
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a corporate onboarding role with substantial knowledge of relevant rules and regulations governing compliance affairs
- Familiarity with various client types and EEA jurisdictions
- Experience in reviewing AML Policies, identifying control gaps, and knowledge of virtual asset service providers
- Competence in handling reviews of high-risk and complex KYB cases, Financial Institutions, and Broker clients profiles
- Possession of ACAMS/CAMS/CCAS/ICA certifications is highly desirable
- Strong time management, organizational, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to adapt in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Sound knowledge of local laws, directives, regulations, and standards applicable to subject persons
- Understanding of upcoming virtual currency regulation policies is advantageous.
