KYB Analyst - Portuguese Speaker

Job Summary

Position Responsibilities:

• Effectively manage personal workload, prioritize tasks, and promptly escalate any significant risks or issues to management.
• Review and validate all client onboarding applications within specified timeframes.
• Collaborate with the Front Office and Relationship Partner Teams as well as directly with clients to gather necessary documentation for KYB due diligence.
• Utilize compliance tools, such as World-Check and Jumio, proficiently.
• Ensure a robust customer due diligence process.
• Conduct risk assessments, periodic reviews, and enhanced due diligence competently.
• Monitor and document any suspicious activities or AML indicators.
• Engage in internal and external training programs related to AML/CFT and other procedural aspects.
• Perform general administrative tasks related to the role to meet the Company's needs.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in a corporate onboarding role with comprehensive knowledge of regulatory compliance.
• Familiarity with various client types, including Non-Operating/Asset Holding Companies, Governments, and Organizations.
• Proficiency in English and Portuguese is essential for effective coordination with international partners.
• Strong organizational, time management, and relationship-building skills.
• A bachelor's degree is mandatory.
• Ability to write clearly and persuasively.
• Willingness to adapt to a dynamic and evolving work environment.
• Sound understanding of local laws, regulations, and upcoming virtual currency policies.
