KYB Analyst - Portuguese Speaker

Responsibilities:
- Efficiently manage personal workload and prioritize tasks, promptly escalating significant risks or issues to management.
- Review and verify all client onboarding applications within specified timelines.
- Collaborate closely with Front Office and Relationship Partner Teams, along with clients directly if needed, to gather necessary supporting documents for KYB due diligence.
- Proficiently utilize compliance applications such as World-Check, Dow Jones, Jumio, etc.
- Ensure a thorough customer due diligence process.
- Coordinate with the business for workload planning, track renewal statuses, and prioritize ongoing requests.
- Competently conduct risk assessments, periodic reviews, and enhanced due diligence.
- Monitor and document any unusual activities or AML flags.
- Engage in internal and external training programs related to AML/CFT and relevant subjects as necessary.
- Perform any general administration or ancillary tasks as required by the business.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in a corporate onboarding role with deep knowledge of compliance regulations and affairs on a day-to-day basis.
- Familiarity with various client types, including Non-Operating/Asset Holding Companies, Governments, Organizations.
- Proficiency in English and Portuguese to liaise with international partners and stakeholders effectively.
- Strong skills in time management, organization, and relationship building.
- Possession of an undergraduate degree.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in writing.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic and evolving work environment.
- Good knowledge of local laws, directives, regulations applicable to subject persons, with understanding of upcoming virtual currency regulation policies being an advantage.
