Lead Solutions Engineer
As a Lead Solutions Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving innovation and success by collaborating with sales, product, and engineering teams to create customized technical solutions for customers. Your responsibilities include facilitating decision-making across teams and breaking down barriers to close new business opportunities. By addressing critical business needs, you will ensure long-term customer success, guide product development based on market demands, and improve business strategies efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of pre-sales development and documentation of SaaS configurations and technical solutions.
- Cultivate relationships with clients as their primary technical contact throughout the sales process.
- Understand customers' business requirements and use cases to devise innovative solutions that enhance satisfaction and foster long-term engagements.
- Assist clients in internal technology stack choices and configuration for utilizing HealthVerity products.
- Tailor solutions to align with customers' budget and timeline constraints.
- Provide insights for new product/feature developments and resource allocation decisions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to assess feasibility and effort required for novel workflows and configurations.
- Develop technical workflow diagrams and drive process enhancements to streamline the sales process and transition to post-sales customer support.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in technical pre-sales roles, preferably in SaaS B2B or related areas such as product or data workflow design.
- 5+ years of client-facing roles and project management experience in a complex technical environment.
- Highly proficient in using SaaS products in the workplace, like Salesforce, JIRA, Confluence, LucidChart, or similar tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proven track record of collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge and experience in regulated industries such as HIPAA compliance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with the healthcare industry and data ecosystem, direct experience with large healthcare datasets preferred.
- Working knowledge of SQL, Python, Databricks, Airflow, ETL processes, and AWS environments.
Salary Range
$90,000 - $200,000 per year
Location
The preferred hiring locations include Philadelphia, Boston, New York City, Baltimore, Washington D.C, Charlotte, Raleigh-Durham, and Atlanta. Remote work is supported from key locations and approved states within the Eastern Time Zone.
