Key Responsibilities:
Technical Skills:
Relevant experience within conventional financial services sectors such as banking, asset management, capital markets, or wealth management.
Proficient understanding of risk, compliance, legal, and regulatory aspects pertinent to Asset Management (AM) and the designated client base.
Strong aptitude in research, analysis, writing, presentation, and public communication.
Complexity and Impact of Work:
Conduct research and data analysis to bolster strategic initiatives across AM and specific business lines or client segments.
Facilitate and oversee cross-functional projects, representing AM within various business lines and departments.
Engage in client discussions to cultivate relationships, drive business growth, and advance client transactions.
Collaborate with multiple teams including Sales, Marketing, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Operations, and Product to address challenges and outline strategies, prioritization, and roadmap execution.
Contribute to strategy execution and enhance internal AM operations.
Organizational Knowledge:
Contribute to prioritization and development of core business initiatives, identify product feature requirements, and enhance automation and scalability.
Adapt well to a highly dynamic, growth-oriented environment.
Ensure information sharing across AM.
Communication and Influence:
Assist in developing strategic proposals, client-facing presentations, business plans, report requirements, and roadmap execution.
Collaborate within AM and across departments to secure consensus, tackle issues, and present to FIG business leads, Department Head, and stakeholders throughout the organization.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience spanning 3+ years in traditional financial services.
- Minimum 1 year working in an institutional-focused crypto business, with exposure to trading, settlements, and/or custody infrastructure considered advantageous.
- Established track record managing cross-functional initiatives tied to institutional product and service delivery.
- Proficient in engaging with institutional client leads and communicating with internal stakeholders effectively.
- Strong communication skills, research capabilities, data analysis proficiency, and adept at presentations.
- Familiarity with computer science principles and/or basic programming skills (Python, R, Java, SQL, etc.).
