Member of Compliance, FCC Program Analytics

We are currently seeking a proficient data specialist in Compliance to join our team. The individual should possess a passion for data analysis and compliance insights. This role involves engaging with transaction and client data to identify patterns and develop compliance models that detect risky behaviors. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in creating models, tools, and analytics to ensure regulatory compliance, particularly in line with BSA/AML standards.
As a capable contributor, you will collaborate with different Anchorage Digital affiliates to reinforce the global compliance function. This position requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional who excels in a dynamic work environment with competing priorities.
Key Technical Skills:
- In-depth understanding of Compliance-related data structures, models, and analytics.
- Proficiency in designing, implementing, and automating controls, processes, and dashboards for enhancing compliance monitoring and reporting.
Work Complexity and Impact:
- Support the refinement and optimization of BSA/AML models, including transaction monitoring and customer risk rating.
- Conduct routine compliance reporting for internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
Organizational Expertise:
- Collaborate across departments to enhance compliance tools and processes.
- Utilize knowledge of Anchorage Digital business segments to tailor data analysis and models accordingly.
Communication and Influence:
- Deliver ad hoc analyses and compliance reports to internal teams and regulators.
- Assist with FCC-related system and model issues as required.
Requirements for the Role:
- Proficiency in SQL, Python or R, and advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills.
- Strong analytical abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated with a collaborative attitude towards teamwork.
Additional Skills (not mandatory but beneficial):
- Prior experience in financial services, especially within the crypto industry or fast-paced environments.
- Familiarity with BSA/AML and OFAC regulations and risk management best practices.
