Anchorage Digital encompasses entities like Anchorage Digital Bank N.A., the sole federally chartered crypto bank in the U.S., and extends its services through additional platforms like Anchorage Digital Singapore and Porto by Anchorage Digital.

Supported by esteemed institutions such as Andreessen Horowitz, Goldman Sachs, and Visa, Anchorage Digital has garnered significant funding, with a Series D valuation exceeding $3 billion. Established in 2017 in San Francisco, California, Anchorage Digital operates from various locations including New York, Porto, Singapore, and Sioux Falls.

We are constructing a regulated platform that converges banking, markets, and digital asset landscapes. The Global Analytics Team at Anchorage Digital delivers quantitative, data-driven capabilities, imbuing business units with the tools needed to upscale, regulate, and meet supervisory requirements effectively. We are currently in search of a results-driven individual to join our Economic & Regulatory Analysis section, emphasizing capital, margin, liquidity, and supervisory readiness within banking and markets frameworks.

We have devised the Factors of Growth & Impact to assist team members in gauging their impact and expressing coaching, feedback, and learning experiences while developing their skills and contributions within and beyond the role:

Technical Skills:

  • Demonstrate foundational understanding in regulatory analysis pertinent to banking and markets frameworks, with the ability to decipher statutes, rules, and industry standards.
  • Exhibit familiarity with capital, liquidity, and margin frameworks, along with risk measurement methods and regulatory capital concepts.
  • Possess experience in working with extensive datasets, employing statistical tools (like Python, R), conducting research, and data analysis (e.g., SQL).

Complexity and Impact of Work:

  • Translate evolving banking and market regulations into practical analytics, policies, and operational strategies with minimal guidance.
  • Assist in determining and maintaining capital, margin, and liquidity methodologies aligned with regulatory expectations.
  • Apply analytical scrutiny to capital, liquidity, and margin principles, backing impact assessments and structured risk analyses.
  • Support licensing applications, supervisory engagements, internal governance, and business decision-making processes.
  • Establish repeatable frameworks and assets across regulatory, capital, and margin sectors, enabling scalability and regulatory compliance.

Organizational Knowledge:

  • Develop a deep understanding of Anchorage Digital's strategy and business lines.
  • Recognize the intersections between regulatory, capital, liquidity, and control expectations with business models, product structures, and operational processes.
  • Cultivate a working knowledge across Legal, Risk, Finance, Operations, and Product to translate requirements into scalable controls.
  • Identify governance points, internal approval routes, and key decision-making forums, ensuring clarity in materials.

Communication and Influence:

  • Demonstrate proficiency in crafting technical documents suitable for various contexts, tailored to regulatory or banking audiences.
  • Convey complex regulatory details into concise, actionable narratives for senior stakeholders.
  • Engage in cross-team collaborations, contribute to multidisciplinary initiatives, and assist colleagues or stakeholders in technical subjects.
  • Influence decision-making through structured suggestions, raising risk aspects, and maintaining detailed documentation.

Candidate Profile:

  • Possess a bachelor's degree in economics, finance, public policy, or related fields; advanced degrees are favorable.
  • Showcase 3–5+ years of experience in financial services, regulatory advisory, risk/capital functions, or regulatory agencies.
  • Exhibit familiarity with prudential standards (OCC/FRB) and derivatives/market frameworks (CFTC/SEC) and practical exposure to regulatory capital, margin frameworks, banking, or derivatives markets.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical capabilities, including data handling and application of statistical tools.
  • Have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of simplifying complex concepts into actionable insights.
  • Display high analytical rigor, cross-functional execution expertise, and meticulous attention to detail.

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Up-to-date familiarity with blockchain and crypto advancements is advantageous.
  • Emotional connection to the soundtrack of Hamilton, portraying the foundation of a new financial system, is a plus.
