  As a Senior Trading Engineer at Anchorage Digital, you will be responsible for implementing cutting-edge front and back office trading systems used by institutional investors worldwide to conduct daily trading, investment, and exchange operations involving cryptocurrency assets. The dynamic crypto industry offers constant change and innovation. Anchorage Digital plays a vital role in upholding the industry's evolution through development of foundational technology aimed at enhancing safety, regulation, and security standards necessary for unlocking the full potential of this exciting sector.

• Conduct code reviews to maintain consistency, enhance accuracy, and foster knowledge sharing across the Brokerage engineering team

• Independently lead or contribute effectively within a team to deliver new features
• Proficient in dividing substantial projects into manageable tasks, accurately estimating timelines and scope, and making informed recommendations

Organizational Knowledge:

• Ensure knowledge sharing among team members to avoid dependencies on a single individual
• Foster cross-functional collaboration with the Brokerage team and other departments within Anchorage Digital

Communication and Influence:

• Mentor and guide multiple team members, sharing expertise and contributing to overarching strategic goals
• Adapt communication to accommodate various needs, motivations, or concerns to maximize impact

If you possess the following qualifications, you may be an ideal candidate for this role:

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Golang, Java, C#, C++, Rust
• Experience in modern software development practices including automated testing, cloud development, and database design
• Knowledge of financial asset trading systems and exposure to various related components
• Previous involvement in developing financial trading systems, demonstrating a passion for software engineering best practices
• Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals like concurrency, algorithms, and data structures
• Enthusiasm for collaborative software engineering in a team-oriented environment

While not mandatory, the following qualities would be considered advantageous:

• Experience in GraphQL and gRPC API design and implementation
• Background in the finance industry
• Familiarity with digital asset trading, particularly within the cryptocurrency realm

Compensation at Anchorage Digital:

Compensation at Anchorage Digital is competitive and aligned with market standards. Full-time employees receive attractive salaries, significant equity incentives, and comprehensive benefits package. The salary range for this role may vary based on regional location and job grade, with values typically falling between $150,000 and $245,000. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process, considering skills, experience, and qualifications. We engage external firms annually to ensure our compensation packages are competitive and fair in the market.
