Job Overview:
The Mining Operations Tech plays a vital role in CleanSpark's bitcoin mining activities, contributing to the seamless operation of the team. This position collaborates with a larger team to provide round-the-clock support for mining operations and aids the engineering and facilities teams in their initiatives.
Recent graduates and veterans are encouraged to apply for this role.
Starting hourly rate ranges between $21.00 - $23.00.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Record and scan equipment shipments with precision, maintaining accurate records and inventory details. Manage tracking spreadsheets or databases, as well as initiate and update tracking tickets.
- Support special projects related to the installation or reorganization of mining equipment as required.
- Conduct basic maintenance on miners, including tasks like fan and power supply replacements.
- Monitor mining pool data and relay significant changes as necessary.
- Recognize and address issues impacting the production environment.
- Facilitate authorized visitor access within the facility for equipment servicing.
- Offer remote assistance when directed, covering tasks like troubleshooting and equipment reboots.
- Aid the facilities team in building and electrical maintenance tasks:
- Report HVAC or power concerns promptly.
- Assist in resolving issues as they arise.
- Monitor and report temperature fluctuations promptly within data centers or office areas.
- Perform any other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School diploma or GED Equivalent.
- Experience: No prior technical experience necessary; on-the-job training will be provided.
- Skills: Capable of working independently to complete assigned tasks, basic proficiency with computer operations.
- Personal attributes: Proactive, helpful, diligent, take pride in quality work, and collaborative-minded. CleanSpark values employees who are forward-thinking, enthusiastic, results-oriented, and team-oriented.
