Operational Risk Specialist (Third party risk)

Responsibilities
ERMF & Governance:
- Aid in crafting risk policies and procedures, and preparing risk training materials
- Support the maintenance of effective risk governance, including establishing Key Risk Indicators and assisting with Board Committee reporting
- Provide guidance to Risk Champions/Risk Owners in the 1st line of defense, and help compile Business Units' risk reports
Country Risk Management (“CRM”):
- Compile regional incidents, conduct regular trend analysis, and thematic reviews
- Assist regional teams in aligning key risk indicators with the firm’s risk governance, enabling central risk oversight
Product Risk Management (“PRM”):
- Collaborate on product risk assessments with Risk Owners, assessing risk exposure across various Crypto products
- Validate controls identified via risk assessments, ensuring timely implementation of remedial actions
- Conduct risk assessments for new products/services
Functional Risk Management (“FRM”):
- Oversee the outsourcing framework, ensure regulatory compliance, manage intra-group and external third-party service providers
- Work with various teams to ensure robust controls and contractual protections
- Support in establishing key risk indicator matrices for all risk pillars and maintaining ongoing oversight
Other responsibilities:
- Support Operational Risk team initiatives such as Third-Party Risk Management and Business Continuity planning
- Prepare Risk Dashboard and Reports for management review
- Undertake ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business/Commerce/Finance/Risk Management or related fields
- 5+ years of experience in financial services, operational risk, audit, advisory services, or product management
- Proficiency in database management system and governance, risk & compliance tools is advantageous
- Strong project management skills, ability to handle multiple time-sensitive initiatives in a fast-paced environment
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, self-disciplined, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
